I don't want to repeat what has been said on other forums, but we have lost a great, talented and supportive member of the ukulele community. And a Canadian, too!

John Kavanagh passed away today. I can't begin to express my sadness over this news.

I don't think John participated here at UU so many of you may not know him. He was a wonderful person with a great passion for music and was very gracious with his time and knowledge when helping others with his insightful posts on the various forums.

John will surely be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to him, his family and friends.

We've lost another wonderful ukulele player and teacher. He was very generous with his time and knowledge. He will sorely missed especially here in Canada.

RIP John Kavanagh.
RIP John King.

I know he was an oldtimer on the Cosmos, but joined the UU just last month (http://ukuleleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2&page=101).
Sad news, always enjoyed his input at the Cosmos.
Rest in Peace John.
