According to iamhawaii Aldrine does a accent on his strumming, i which i dont know how to do. Do i just hit the top two strings up and down and then the other strings? I need help quickly my senior project is due in June 2nd and i have to learn this song by then

So can i do it this way: Up down release up down next chord right
 
Does the guitar have to be tuned a certain way or can you just use the normal tune-up

i do muted up down up, unmuted down and keep doing that...but you can do whatever sounds good to you...this kid on youtube skips the pinkie mutes and uses chunks

and regular tuning works fine, yea
 
I can't believe deach has not chimed in here even though he hates the song.
 
down, up (muted) 4 times, then switch to the next chord.

I usualy do: Up, Mute, Up, Up, Mute... etc
Just feel the song a bit, I haven't played for very long (4 months) but after playing the song for 1.5 weeks the strumming pattern just comes :p
 
can this method also work Muted(up down up) then Chord(down) then Muted(up down up)?
