Hello All
Are these folks still doing business? Considering buying some strings from their website but does not seem to be active at this time. Have not phoned them but wondering if anyone knows what is going on.

No, they are not in business; Dirk, the owner and string guru, passed away in July.

UU member Jim Hanks is assisting in the wrapping-up of the business and is offering some sets for sale in the UU Marketplace. The sets available now tend to be the more unusual ones, but go have a look at the thread - there might be something there you would like.

As kvehe says, I have a few sets still available. The LML set is normal "low G" C tuning for tenor or baritone (or Bb baritone). I have a couple of LU sets for a low tension "high c" C tuning on concert. Also a few options for higher tunings on concert, soprano, and even sopranino.
