It’s out of stock and I’m not sure if it will stay posted but the Tyde tenor
at Theukulelesite is, in pics and sound, a stunner to me.

Anyone else checking it out?

Yeah, not just you. Someone snapped that one up quick and for good reason.

I played a similar tenor of theirs at the LA Uke Festival a couple of months ago, koa body and sinker redwood top, same cool beveling on the top and back to smooth out edges.

It was probably the most comfortable and resonant instrument I've ever played. I was incredibly impressed with everything they showed there... they had a fairly simple myrtle tenor that sounded unbelievably good, and they were asking $1200-1500 for it (very fair price given the quality of the wood and beautiful sound). I wish I was in the market for an instrument now! I loved their stuff so much though that down the road I may seriously consider selling off a few of my ukes to have them build something.
