Beautiful Fred Shields concert size, all mahogany Backpacker ukulele. I've only had this about 2 months, it's in perfect condition. I changed out the strings to D'Addario and played it a few times. I played it enough to know that I miss the sound of wood. My only other ukuleles are 2 concert size Fleas. I love the intonation and sturdiness of the Fleas. But now I want to hear wood
The Backpacker is too precious for me, I'm hard on things. I don't want to deal with humidifiers. But I live in New England where the furnace is usually running. I want something I can leave out near my couch, so I can grab it and practice while I'm watching tv. I think I get a lot more practicing done by leaving my uke as available as the tv remote.
So........I'd like to trade the beautiful Backpacker for a concert size all laminate or top wood/body laminate or even an inexpensive all wood. Cash added if necessary.
