Oh wow. That's a good price. I paid about £200 more for the HF-2D. If only you had posted this a couple of months back!

Not really if you are in the UK once you have paid shipping, import tax etc. You could get a new one for that and they do show up here from time to time.

Lovely ukulele though :)

The 2016 Anniversary model was only made during the Kamaka 100 Year Anniversary celebration around 2016. You can't buy a new one anymore, unless you can find a seller with old stock.

Indeed although I hear the 2017, 2018 and even the 2019 models sound almost identical, even without the additional abalone on the headstock!

for some perspective, a new HF-3D retails for $2495. I'm asking $1895 for a mint condition instrument .
thanks
Fred

Yes and it's a good price for a very good 2nd hand instrument if you are buying in the US.

I am truly staggered that no one has snatched this up. Very nice ukulele for an excellent price. Plus, it's a 100th anniversary model to boot.

Unfortunately, I am not in a position to be that lucky person.

i almost placed a bid on it, until i saw 8 bids still at $1700, which is odd.
looks like this guy really wanted it and unsure what his max bid was.
