Continuing to narrow down my uke collection in 2019, I’m putting up for sale a group of 4 baritones. I can’t decide which of these 4 to sell, so I’ve put all 4 up for sale.

Sound sample of all four.

From left to right:
1) Gary Creed "Creedy" Spruce & Black Walnut baritone built by Gary Creed in Virginia. It has an exceptionally clear and even tone, with some nice depth and resonance. The tone and volume are really exceptional (10/10). The neck has gorgeous curly maple and black walnut. This came with a nice passive pickup and has a good Tru-oil finish. In excellent condition, no dings or dents. The baritone is nicely made, very smooth neck and body. But it's not a perfect build (9/10), hand made by a craftsman. Satin finish. The neck is a bit on the thick side but has a comfortable flatter profile. Comes with canvas hard foam case. Read my review:

2) Ono 6-string bear claw spruce/ Makore baritone with octaves on strings 3 and 4. Built by David Ingalls in Oregon. Currently strung as a 4-string. Like new with a beautiful gloss finish. Flawless work. More can be found here Makore back and sides. Like new, no dents, dings or scratches. High gloss lacquer finish. Comes with Oahu hardcase. Outstanding build and sound.

4) Griffin Spruce & curly maple
Good used condition spruce and curly maple baritone with MiSi pickup, built by Brian Griffin for himself in 2011, and had been playing it for 7 years. He was only selling it because of building a new one.

The looks and tone are beautiful, warm, yet with a nice crispness to each string (unlike most baritones I've played). It plays like a dream with a thicker neck. The intonation is spot-on all the way up the neck. It’s not a physically perfect instrument, it’s been played a lot. There are some builder and playing marks, as one might expect on 7 + year old and well loved instrument, built in 2011. Many small marks and indents on the top, only adds to the charm. Includes new Musician's Gear Baritone Ukulele hardcase. Currently strung with SouthCoast Strings.

Body is tiger striped big leaf maple. The soundboard is Sitka Spruce purchased from Pacific Rim Tonewood, a local company that is the primary supplier of tonewood for Martin and Taylor Guitars. The Spruce was sourced on the Queen Charlotte Islands in British Columbia, Canada.
The binding is Rosewood, the fretboard and bridge are Ebony. The wood in the rosette and peg head plate is spalted Big Leaf Maple.
The nut and saddle are made from bison bone a local buffalo rancher near the luthier, Buffalo bone is reputed to be 35% harder than cow bone, and thus must transmit vibration better. The finish is French Polish. This baritone has a MiSi pickup, charger and instructions.

Asking $700 + shipping.

Wow Hodge, that is a bold move. I keep thinking I should do the same, but then I play them and chicken out :p

A group of stellar baritones. Those unfamiliar with Webber he is a very highly regarded custom builder in the acoustic guitar community. I own a Webber tenor ukulele that is fabulous. When Hodge got the baritone he told how impressed he was with it.

Good luck with the outcome Hodge

Best of luck. I'm sure they will sell quickly.
