But that comment was dated May 2018, so maybe something has changed since then on the site, but the FAQ has remained with the "old" answer?
All I see is the "Price Guide" (linked below), which has dozens of pages of results for certain instruments and this makes it difficult to narrow down a meaningful value for something that was popular in the second-hand market.

Right. When I search for something on Reverb, it will show me items that have been sold. That goes back at least a year. That can be kind of frustrating, especially when they don't show the selling price.
