Purchased from kimosabe's FS thread here https://forum.ukuleleunderground.co...tone-for-sale-Gotoh-tuners&highlight=giannini . Straight neck, no cracks, new strings. Minor wear, no tear along the edges and surface marks commensurate with its age. If it was a wrist watch they'd be described as desk diving marks. I've owned it just long enough to have the original nut replaced with a bone nut; and the saddle lowered. The action is low and no fret buzz. Jake Wildwood's review and sound sample https://jakewildwood.blogspot.com/2013/04/c1970-giannini-baritone-ukulele.html of a 70's Giannini baritone aptly describes this one. Looking for $365 plus shipping.

Awash in ukes, here, running out of places to sit, have a Webber bari on my radar screen. So this one has to go! Thank for looking. Seems I can attach just 5 pics. I don't know why they're 90 degrees CCW. My craigslist FS post has these and more, correctly clocked: https://bellingham.craigslist.org/msg/d/surrey-fs-giannini-baritone-ukulele/6817917443.html

I was able to play this Giannini. Cubeistan didn't mention the upgrade Gotoh tuners Kimosabe put on. The luthier who did the work was Will Bright of Bright guitars. A very well known luthier who specializes in reconstructing vintage instruments and a great guitar builder.

Whomever buys this G. will have a baritone that needs no repairs at all and is professionally setup. Along with the Gotohs tuners, this is one of the finest G's I've played. This is the best deal on the forum today for anyone looking for a good baritone.

I owned three vintage baris. at one time a while back. A 62Martin, 54 Favillia and an early Giannini. The one I kept was the G. for it's uniques sound and fast C shaped neck.

Quite tempting though also awash in ukes. Hmm.

19" scale?

Jim, yes, the scale is 19".

Pat, thanks for your adding thoughts on it and that info.

Absolutely wrong about who installed the Gotohs. Kilin Reece in Kailua did the work.

Was talking about Will Bright doing the work on the setup along with the new nut and saddle Cubeistan had done recently Kimosabe. Whomever, Kilin Reece, did the work installing the Gotohs did a great job. My post was confusing; sorry bout that.

Bump up for this fine vintage baritone. This instrument has a nice low fast action. Kimosabe had the tuners changed to Gotohs while Ron had a complete setup check as well as a new bone nut and saddle.

I'm gonna bump this one again. It's a great playing instrument with nothing needing to be repaired. I own a Giannini already or would grab it up myself.
