An exciting New Uke Day this last Saturday. My Bonanza Oreo Baritone arrived.
Black Walnut with a Cherry stripe, Gotoh UPT’s, passive pickup, strung Low GCEA, and a nice light brown hard case that was sourced from Bonanza also.
I am beyond thrilled, it has great volume, beautiful sustain, and nearly perfect intonation. I had expected it to possibly be a bit on the quiet side being that it is a slimline but that is not the case, I have other ukuleles that don’t have the volume this does.
It is supremely light, well balanced and beautifully constructed.
I can’t say enough about Pete & Shelley’s fabulous customer service and attention to your needs and desires when choosing options for your instrument.
Cheers to all,
Steve.
