Don't pick up a new uke when you're meant to be working!!

This is a NUD without the pictures yet.

I made the mistake of picking up a Barron River Curly maple concert I just bought from the post office on my lunch break. My goodness this thing is amazing.

I now have a new uke sitting on my desk at work at arms length.

Not sure if it's going to be a constructive afternoon...
 
I'm banned from talking about anything to do with ukulele's by my work colleagues. Mind you it's my own fault - I kinda over did it so I guess they got sick of it.

Anyway happy NUD. I've not played a Barron River yet but they should look pretty. Hope she brings you much joy.
 
I think I could go on a bit too much as well so I try to not talk too much uke at work. Although I ended up just having a bit of a gentle strum at my open plan desk while most were out :) Turns out there was another uke player in the building that I wasn't aware of.

Reentrantaining they are pretty to look at but it's an amazing uke to play as well. It's one of the less blinging Barron River ukes I've seen but really happy with it. I've been wanting a Barron River uke for a fair while. Here's a few picks :)
