2-3 weeks! I’m dying! They are a great company and super nice, but this really bums the impatient kid in me out. I could easily wait the time frame if I hadn’t worked myself up. It’s nice out and I wanna Uke outside in the sun! Patients is a virtue, I guess.
Ha, sometimes it just takes a little perspective. I was just really looking forward to some outdoors play sooner than later. The Kanile’a is pretty much not aloud out of the house. I’m just very excited... Aaaaaannnnndddd now I’m considering adding more bells and whistles to the Clara. Damn.

Definitely a first world problem. I just thought people on here could understand the delay on the excitement. I’ve never heard or played one in person, so I’m on the edge of my seat. Although, I’d never played or heard a Kanile’a before, I had played/ heard other nice wood Ukes before. This is a whole other species. Build time on the website said three weeks. It’s looking like around 8 weeks now. Im not bitter at all, but I plan on doing Mt. Tamalpais recordings and other beautiful places when I get it. Going to be epic in my personal world. I’m also very interested to see if it’s easier to play than my Kanile’a.
Looking forward to your NUD when it does arrive. It's disappointing to have to wait longer than expected, but good things are worth waiting for, rumor has it.
Enjoy it when it arrives!

As I said I feel for you and I can relate, I had one custom build delayed 8 months and another 2 months. It is painful but character building. Just learn some new pieces on your Kanilea so you are ready to jump on the new one. That's what I did.
