Just noticed that one of the soprano bridges is 2mm off the centre line..I put it down to lack of concentration while not feeling well last week...It dosn't effect the playing but it's visually annoying me.:(

So!! it's got to come off and be fixed.:rulez:

What is really important (to me) is how the strings are positioned, relative to the edges of the fret board - and how they pass over the sound hole.

Confession - I've been known to position the bridge over to one side (slightly) if it helps to get the first two requirements correct.

Me too John...I have just made a new bridge for it slightly longer to cover the scraped footprint when I reposition it ...no one will know about it except you and me.

And me. Wild horses could not drag it out of me.

For most of us, a variation of +/- 2mm is regarded as success, not failure. Good to see you're back to your old self again, Ken.
