worked out the other day that i need to strum the uke different to my guitar.
sounds dumb i know but
i found that i was strumming only the higher strings especially after using the guitar (for example the d chord misses the bottom 2 strings and the c chord omits the low e string), and the uke sounds so much fuller when evenly hitting all the strings.
also found that playing barre chords on the guitar greatly improves uke barre chords. in fact if i don't pick up a guitar for a week or two the barre chord quality really suffers.
anyway just some ideas
