Royal Hawaiian and Kumalae from the 1920's had the three circles around the sound hole, but they were yellow, not black, unless it's a different model (or maybe a competitor or later version?).

My guess is a no-name model made in Japan in the 1960s. Here's something similar (https://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-No-80-NIPPON-GAKKI-ukulele-4-string-made-in-Japan-/132978298509?hash=item1ef61fce8d%3Ag%3A0LsAAOSws5F cf~~J&nma=true&si=JKMdxxal9KRrxxb%252FSmBiqQyS4vM%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557) from eBay.

The bridge definitely suggest that.

I thought it looked familiar. The Nippon Gakki reference settled my opinion that it is a 60s Japanese manufacture.

I've never played a Yamaha Nippon Gakki uke, but the nylon string, classical style acoustic guitars from the same era (late 50s/early 60s) were quite good, and have a semi-cult following. I have a Dynamic (by Yamaha) #40 classical guitar from that era, solid top, and I suspect the ukes were of similar quality.
