Great looking instrument. Are the pegs boxwood?
It looks like the body is made of top, back and sides. I thought cittern bodies were traditionally carved from a solid block of wood. Were they also made as you have done?

Thanks! Yes the pegs are boxwood. To my knowledge, citterns were usually made with bent sides. Maybe you mean the earlier citole or gittern?
