string help

i'm in need of a string change for my tenor applause ukulele and i was wondering what some of you guys use and/or recommend. Right now, my C string is wound and i love the sound it gives. Does anyone know about those red strings??? first off, are they good and secondly, do they make them for tenor ukuleles?

You can check Ukulele World for tenor strings. Musicguymic and DrClucks on ebay have good selections, not to mention inexpensive compared to other online stores. Are these the red strings you're referring to?

I'm sure you guys have gone over this ground before but since I'm new in the neighborhood I have a question, too.

First, thanks for the link, Kanaka. That's helpful. My soon-to-arrive tenor is strung low G, but both G and C strings are wound.

It may all come down to personal preference, but is there a generally accepted string set for C6 tuning w/low G?
