Tuning Low G

Okay, so I just bought a Pono Tenor from musicguymic and didn't pay attention to the whole 'high g upon request' part. Now that I have it in my hands I have no clue how to tune a low g. I've always used the online ukulele tuner at get-tuned.com for my concert uke but am at a loss as what to do. Do I have to get a pitch pipe or buy an electronic tuner? Any advice would be sweet! I'd get the electric tuner. How are you going to tune the uke if you don't have computer access?

Yeah... that's been somewhat of a problem. Any recommendations for good electric tuners?

Hold down the 5th fret on the G-string and pluck it. It should sound like the the C-String plucked (open).

Thanks a million! I was hoping I wasn't going to have to suffer through waiting to get a tuner in the mail before I could play this sweet uke!

Also, if you press the G3 radio button on the get-tuned site's tuner, that's the same note as your low G.

I use the F-Zone clip-on tuner and I like it. A couple friends have Cherub clip-ons and like them as well.
