Beautiful, and faithful, reproduction of an original Santo ukulele.

DaSilva instruments are lovely. I have always admired his work. Good luck with it!

It is a soprano. Just a bit smaller though.
It’s an exact copy of an original Santo that Mike had access to.
Really a beautiful ukulele.

It was a Mike DaSilva soprano that I thought was the best sounding soprano that I’ve ever heard.

GLWS.

Thanks! Kinda hate to let this one go.

Just trying to be a bit helpful here.

Isn’t this the same model that DaSilva gave to the late, great, John King? There are YouTube videos of this being played by King. Search the two names with ukulele.

I don’t believe it is the same one. I didn’t buy it from John.
I was told I was the second owner. I could ask Mike DaSilva about it.

Thanks Sharpshin.

I wasn’t saying the same exact instrument, I said I thought it was the same model. Katzuke if it is the same model and was good enough for John King to record with you couldn’t have a better demo or stamp of approval. Check out the videos.

Now, I really hope I was right or I shudda kept my mouth shut!

I think I misunderstood you. You are correct, it is the same DaSilva Santo model that John played and was given to him by Mike.
It really is an amazing copy of an original Santo.
