The Ohana TPK-70G sopranino arrived from Mim this morning. It's funny, the "TP" of the sopranino stands for Tiny Pineapple, and the "TTPK" of the sopranissimo stands for "Teeny Tiny Pineapple."

It’s a whole family of pineapples! Hopefully swapping out the dog-ears goes smoothly. Were you planning to do that for both tinies, or just the teeny tiny?

I'll have to think about that. I'll do the sopramissimo first.

I sold my Ohana standard sopranino and bought the pineapple so they would match.

Congrats on TTPK, Jerry! Which tuning do you take on TTPK?

I'm using regular GCEA for now. I don't see a need to change.

I heard that sopranino is hard to tune GCEA. Your strings may be special for TTPK.

Why does the Sopranino need special strings? :D

I have no idea, but the two little ones sound fine with GCEA.

Hi, happy cloud nine, prb!

Why does the Sopranino need special strings? :D

Sopranino is very short scale. Normal strings can not get enough tension. It is fun to choose strings and tune to GCEA on sopranino.
