My question is - is 16" radius essentially flat on a 1-1/2 nut and therefore not worth the extra money?

I do prefer a radius fretboard and I think the the Pono is 14." I do feel the Pono is easier to co barre chords on.

I am considering having the Kanile'a Pineapple made with a radius fretboard, but they will only do a 16" radius (1-1/2" nut). I don't want to have something done that will in effect really be nothing.

I'm open to your thoughts.

Thanks

Pono are 16", Andrew from HMS has verified that to me. If you like the Pono with its 16" radius you will like the Kanilea with a 16" radius. I have ukes with 16", 14" and 12" and I don't notice a big difference in playability between them.

Thanks that makes my decision easier. I'll just do a strum test. :)
