I believe the K1T ukes have a wide 38 mm nut, but was curious if someone could measure theirs and tell me the string spread at the nut.

Some ukes have a cramped (for me) string spread of only 27mm. My fat old fingers prefer 29mm or bigger, and was just wondering how Kanilea does it on their tenors.

I usually measure with a digital caliper, on the outsides of G and A strings, as seen below. Thanks

Thanks Ken. I wanted to compare to my Martin T1K tenor, which has a standard 1 3/8" (35mm) nut, but has an outside string spread of 29.2 mm with reentrant Nyltechs. I usually prefer wider nuts, but the string spread on this Martin works fine for me, so I guess nut width isn't everything.
