This is an odd one. I first saw one of these on eBay for $595 (used) with free shipping from Honolulu. I thought the appearance was odd - bare logo in the headstock (like years ago), and no mother of pearl fret markers.

I looked further and saw that Mim has one for sale for $944 - same unusual design features.

According to Mim, the absence of rosewood and abalone will make it easier to ship and travel with internationally. The crown fretmarkers are ebony. It has the white dots as side markers.

That $595 price is a real bargain for a soprano KoAloha.

My 2006 KoAloha concert and my 2015 KoAloha special issue LN soprano both have koa finger boards. They look really nice. The ukulele in the OP looks like a mash-up of KoAloha’s acacia rosette series (ebony head stock logo & ebony crown fret markers) and the koa models. Nice price.
