I contacted Rob Montgomery after seeing his FS thread here https://forum.ukuleleunderground.co...le-from-Aarons-Music-Service&highlight=korina; and read Doc J’s review of his all Rosewood baritone here https://forum.ukuleleunderground.co...-from-Aaron%92s-Music-Service&highlight=aaron.

With guitar-like X bracing, its 3 1/2” deep body, woods, radius fretboard and scale make it a joy to play and hear. So much so that, like Doc, I too sold my Cedar/Macassar UL4-40.

Not being one though, who's prone to leaving perfectly fine well enough alone, I had the high ratio tuning machines replaced with Gotoh UPT by Will Bright, Bright Guitars, in Bellingham.

Nuff said! A sound file and rest of the pics are in my dropbox. Link to the folder here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/51s2hu4r791b64i/AADJIHKreaHp8ZTdB46xNs6oa?dl=0

That's a unique look for sure. The shell(?) binding is wild!

What's that peeking out of the right side of the sound hole?

And what's the brown uke beside it? Something vintage?

D’Addario sound hole clip on tuner, Jim. The brownie is a ~ 70 yr old Favilla bari.
