Ken Timms Sold on eBay

Unless I'm mistaken, a Ken Timms was sold on eBay within three hours of being posted. There was one "bid" at the Buy it Now price.

I got an email from eBay at 8:46 AM saying a Ken Timms was listed - it was gone when I got there.

Well, for brand new vintage Martin style sopranos, with such a limited supply and stellar reputation, these are in high demand. I've never seen a Ken Timms soprano auction go Unsold. Imagine what these will sell for someday after Ken stops building them?

Yup, smart move. The auctions have been going higher than that lately so they likely saved a bit with the buy it now option.

Yes I paid ~$150 more than the BIN price.. Cuban Mahogany sounds really good.

Couldn't agree more. I'm as enamored with mine today as I was when I got it a few weeks ago. Sound is incredible. Instrument is beautiful. Timms is a true craftsman. Worth every penny (and then some).

Juar saw the 17-fret Cuban mahogany model Timms pop up on eBay today. If it had a BIN, someone entered a lower opening bid, so the BIN went away.
