This might be a bit of a left of centre one but after quite a few years I've dusted off an old games console and have been playing Guitar Hero.

For those that don't know about it, you use a plastic 'guitar' controller to press buttons to match a song on the screen.

What I've found is that playing this for 30 min or so daily very much works out my left hand and has helped me increase my finger strength and dexterity.

Just thought I'd share and see if anyone else has used this or other left of centre ways to do hand exercises.

No exercises with that link, just animated music and dancing.

Chee/Maisel and Aldrine Guerrero have hand exercises. As a matter of fact, I think Chee's exercises were taken from Aldrine, and he credits him with them. Many uke fests I've attended have had workshops that included hand exercises. There is also a good book available: Ukulele Aerobics.

No dancing involved :)

Funnily enough the game got my son into music and he's now about to finish a 4 year Bachelor of Music and will have a career as a musician. He credits it as getting him started.

Thanks for the link to the book. Looks really interesting.
