Do any of you have the Ibanez UICT10? Someone posted a link to it yesterday, and it is definitely something different. I'm not into guitars, but this is modeled on the Ibanez Iceman guitar, which is apparently somewhat famous.

This certainly has a distinctive look, and the reviews I've seen are good. For $250 with a pickup and a radiused fretboard, the price is reasonable. It can be played with or without an amp. It should have strap buttons, though. It would be appropriate for public performances - especially rock.

Looks like you could use it to pry the lids off of 5 gallon pails of joint compound.

I thought of that, but I never buy that much at a time. It would harden before I could use all of it.

Speaking of multiple-use items, I saw an ad for sunglasses with a bottle opener built into the piece that goes over the ear. I'm waiting till they add a screwdriver, knife, corkscrew, and several other items I can't think of right now. :)

Theres a video review by Scott Grove, Groovy Music Lessons from 2010 of a model without a pick-up. So its not a new model. He has also done a review of the 2019 model, posted on 1 April 2019. In the 2019 video he has the 2010 model as well. He talks about signatures and stuff which may also be of interest.

Thanks, yes I saw that. The older one was a concert without the pickup, which he added. This one seems to be fairly new. Some dealers have them, and some are waiting for more in August.

You guys are funny.

I've not seen good quality from Ibanez, in the ukulele products. I'd stay away.

I did hold the Ukulele. It felt heavy but at the time I wasn't used to electric ukuleles. It would definitely need a strap in my opinion.
