I am considering purchase of an Outdoor Ukulele Carbon Tenor. Primary motivation for purchasing an Outdoor Ukulele is that it will spend the summer on a small boat. Hot, humid, and possibly occasionally wet environment. Will this ukulele tolerate these conditions in good health? Am I correct that the carbon fiber will really be more stable and resistant to the weather than the regular polycarbonate? Thank you for your thoughts.

Honestly, I got mine because I liked the look better than the other standard colors/plastics. Probably a dumb reason, but whatever.

Mine has lived in the trunk of the car, gone hiking, gone to the beach, played in the rain, and I’ve only had mine a couple months. Plenty more adventures to take it on!

I would say go for it, but be prepared to change the strings if you want more volume. The stock strings are kinda quite, imho.
