Percussionists....

The percussionist that used to play with Aldrine and I is very very good. His name is Miles Endo but he's currently going to college at R.I.S.D. so we only see him on the breaks. His dad is a world famous Taiko drum player Kenny Endo.

Well theres a lot of good ones, but Miles is the only one I know personally. John Porlas is the percussionist that my friend Aaron Kimura uses a lot on his recordings. Lopaka Colon was the percussionist for Jake's original band.

Another really good percussionist on Oahu is Salaam Tillman. He's done a lot of studio percussion work for artists throughout Hawaii.

I never heard of Salaam Tillman, who has he recorded with?

I just noticed this because in my group of friends there are 3 drummers but none of them play hand percussion or rather have any drums (djembe/congas/cajon). A really good percussionist can make such a huge difference.
