Peanut Ukulele, Anyone?

Did any of you order the new Peanut ukulele from Korea? It was an Indiegogo offering in February, with shipping estimated for the end of May. I paid $45 for my acoustic mahogany, and the price rose gradually as time went by. I like the slotted headstock.

Philip K. has orders from twenty-five countries, so shipping is tricky. Japan and Australia orders are going out first. Shipping time from Korea to me is estimated (Google search) to be six weeks.

Sending money to a company in Korea that say it will make a ukulele - someday - can be risky. I liked the looks of the Peanut, and the price was low enough, so I took a chance.

At $45 you can take a chance. It will be interesting when you finally get it.

If one was gun-shy of ordering from Philip Kwak, who has a history with Eleuke and Bugs Gear companies for a long time now, they might take a look at the Eddy Finn EF-PNUT which is generally available in a wide area of dealers here in the USA.

My electric peanut from that same campaign is arriving on Thursday. A review will be coming. (I wanted the electric concert).
