Tuners - Not Quite Right

Maybe these tuners passed through The Twilight Zone on their way from China. :D

Looking at the picture below, you can see that the screw hole is at a 90 degree angle to the shaft, but the ones I received today have the hole at about a 120 degree angle, which is typical of tuners like this.

The tuners pictured would have been perfect for a Flea or a Fluke. If I used the ones I received, the hole would not be over the wood. Maybe I'll use them on something else. I have a silver pair coming from a different company. I hope they're right.

I've had that happen to me a couple times with products coming directly from China. Many of those vendors are just middle men with only a web store front and order drop ship from a factory that sends what they have available, not necessarily what's shown on the site with no communication at all. I'm waiting for a 6 XLR channel mixer board that I hope is the actual one shown.
