For sale is an "As New" aNueNue Light Bird Tenor. The Light Bird model is a version of the Moon Bird series and is exclusively custom made for "the World of Ukes" in Great Britain. It has a beautiful solid cedar top, solid African mahogany back and sides, with ebony binding and a superb gloss finish. Includes a radiused ebony fretboard, ebony bridge and headplate with a slotted headstock. A mother of pearl aNueNue headstock inlay logo and a World of Ukes laser etched logo on the headstock back. Bone nut and compensated saddle and aNueNue branded (Grover) geared chrome tuners. Currently strung re-entrant with Aquila Super Nylguts and includes a new unopened set of D'Addario Titanium Tenors and the set of original aNueNue Black Water FC (Worth) strings. Comes with the wonderful blue leather and brass hardware hard wood case with the aNueNue silver logo. (One of the nicest cases I've ever owned!)
The playability and tone of this ukulele is excellent and is preferred by many reviewers to the Moon Bird. To me the tone is warmer/smoother than the Moon B.
