Hello there !

A while ago I came across a stunning 6 string Spruce/Koa Uke made by Ana'Ole Ukulele for Moke Boy.

"Ukulele acquisition funds" are low at the moment so I can not afford a custom made instrument but maybe an imported instrument could be affordable.

Does anyone know a brand that is offering an affordable 6 string Uke made from solid woods ? Especially Spruce/Koa/Acacia/Mango/Rosewood would be interesting ;)

Thanks,
Dan

Affordable? :)

One uke comes to mind....
The Kala KA-ATP6-CTG tenor.
"The KA-ATP6-CTG is a well-built ukulele. Its acacia and solid cedar tonewoods balance solid fundamentals with complex overtones..."

I have the five string version and I really like it. It has a solid cedar top.

Here's a link to one on the ukulelesite. They go for about $300 USD. http://www.theukulelesite.com/kala-solid-cedar-top-6-string-tenor-ka-atp6-ctg.html

Hey, thank you for your recommendations. I was just about to get a Kala 6 string (there is a version made from solid acacia wood) when I was offered an Ana'ole 6 string made from solid spruce and mango at a very good price.
