I recently acquired this beautiful Collings UC 1 off UU's Marketplace, in hopes it would be my perfect ukulele. Bill Collings was a long time customer of mine, I fix old motorcycles and Bill sent me his Velocette for full rebuild) I have had several ukes, and mandos by his shop, and though I keep trying, I can't seem to bond with them.
I have had several Makapili ukulele's and loved them all and also know Thomas personally - so was interested to see if anybody had a Makapili ukulele they would care to trade ??
Though I paid a bit more for this Collings here on UU, I would be willing to sell it outright & let it go for $900 plus shipping.
