I don't think anyone builds a cleaner looking instrument. I love all of his work. Enough so that I'm on his build list. Only 2 years to go...
 
Those of you that know me know that I’ve been through literally hundreds of ukes over the years but the two I’ve never parted with are my Hives. My first Hive was a spruce top, walnut back and sides very similar to this. I just love everything about it.

I really enjoyed that! What a beautiful uke. And the bass player sure is easy to look at....
 
I also own a Hive. Red spruce over African blackwood. Also one of my favorite instruments.

For what it's worth, I just recorded a video with mine. Unfortunately the uke player ain't much to look at.

Beautiful recording. The hive really shines !
Cool composition too. Uke with bass guitar is a sweet combo.
