ukulele buzzing because of wires

My g string is buzzing because the wires in it keep touching the ukulele. I have to shake for like 5 minutes until the "rattling" wires stop and it plays fine...until I have to shake it again. Should I just take the strings off to poke around in their or has anyone else had a similar problem. Thanks

If you have a pickup installed it would be a good idea to take off the strings and secure the wires before they damage the pickup.If you tape the wires in place securely and the buzzing persists take a look at the ukulele from top to bottom.Are the tuners loose?That could be whats causing the buzzing,or maybe the nut could be coming loose.If all else fails go to the frets page, http://www.frets.com/FRETSPages/Luthier/Technique/Setup/BuzzDiagnosis/buzzintro.html
A uke and guitar are seperate instruments but are still similar,you best bet is to check there first.
