It all depends. I actually saw a 6 string Lanikai on Hawaii Craigslist. The seller was asking $160. I was going to buy it, but I didnt cause I already have a Custom 6-string, and 8-string Kala and 2 4-strings.

I have a 6 string Mele for sale for a great price. I can even put up a video for you after I swap the strings out. But generally speaking, take the cost of a new one and cut it in half. That is a good starting point. But there are many factors to consider such as condition of instrument.

6 strings are normaly used for strumming only

Ehh not really. I finger pick mine and strum it. People will tell you it's mainly for strumming but it sounds good picked.
