This years new york fest was a blast and highlight for me was seeing Bill Tapia perform and tell his wonderful stories. Ken murray the new festival head showed lots of aloha in accomidating everyone and did his best to keep the tradition of ukulele alive here in the Big Apple. Bill Tapia said he would be back again next year. I enjoyed meeting all the old faces as well as some new ones who post here on UU. Mahalo

It definitely was a great time! There were many memorable performances, but Uncle Bill really brought the house down. Ken did a wonderful job coordinating the whole event in such a short time.
Glad I could meet you and some other UUers! I was ready to buy a new uke until I saw what was in my bank account on Saturday night. :( But thanks for the sweet deal on the case! :D

I'm gonna have to make it next year!

Me too! But you'll have to try to get to Toronto, too, Mike, in between, for one of the Corktown Wednesday jams. I plan to drop by this July to meet the ukers.
