I haven't posted in a very long time but thought maybe someone might enjoy seeing this ukulele. Made in Chicago in the 20's.
I bought it for $10 from an online ad. Below are before and after pics. Work included removing resonator (back), fixing cracks and reinstalling (someone had previously horribly re-glued it crooked and off center). Remove and re-glue/re-screw neck. Fret dress, new custom made bridge, overall cleaning, repaint of the sound ring, and finally strung it up and it plays beautifully.
