Youthalele Plans

It has been a number of years but I still get requests now and then for these plans. The original PC documents are no longer available but I took some pics of a set of plans I still had around. The necessary info can be gleaned from them, but if anyone wants to give it a go and has any questions, fire away. They are cheap and easy to build but play and sound quite nice.

That looks like a good project.

I'm accumulating all the online information about the Youthalele. I see some places selling the 1/4 x 12 x 24" plywood, but they're not clear on how many sheets you get. Blick Art shows six for $24 + $6 for shipping, but they don't actually say you get six. It must be six sheets. Someone mentioned using 1/16" plywood. I wonder how that would be. No. At $24 - $40 for one sheet, that would be crazy. I'll get the 1/8".

Walnut, 1/8 x 5 x 12, is about $17. I think I have some fretboard blanks already, though.
