Onboard tuners????

I recently was playing my friends new acoustic with an on board tuner. It was SO helpful!!! So naturally I was wondering if any ukes had them also? and if not would it be possible to install them??:anyone:

YIKES! I tremble at the thought of that.

My Koa Ovation has a built in tuner and I love it.

With ukes though there is so little body that anything other than a small pickup makes think that the acoustics could be compromised.

Then again...I am not a luthier. I just play on one tv.

I've never seen one on a uke, but with clip-on tuners so cheap and usable, I don't really see the value.

Yeah I use a clip-on tuner as well. They work well, it would be nice to have an on-board but as Spooner said I think it would be way to bulky...
