If anything, I'd like a thicker neck on my ukulele. I love my loPrinzi cherry concert, but played an Italian mandolin recently with a thick neck- more than twice the thickness of my uke. It was supe-comfortable to play, filling my hand and allowing the use of leverage to hold down notes rather than finger pressure.
