I had a Compass Rose Koa Tenor in 2013 but sold it during a tough financial period. I told myself one day I would buy a Micro Jumbo Tenor that's shaped like Rick Turner's acoustic guitar. This model is featured on his website but they have not made a uke in a year and have no plans to do so in the next few months.

If you are lucky enough to still have a Compass Rose uke please share how it has developed over the past few years and if you still like it. Pictures would be great too!

Still have my 2010 flamed cherry Compass Rose Tenor, built by Jake Maclay. Got it from MGM right after it was displayed at NAMM 2011. It’s holding up very well, the sound has only improved. More warmth, resonance, clarity, depth and volume have developed with time and play.

Here’s the original demo video by the late, great MGM.

Thanks Hodge,

That is a beautiful uke with MGM and Jake mojo to boot!
