This is the story of how I got started playing Ukulele
It started on a vacation in Hawaii about 12 years ago. I got a Ukulele there as a reminder of the good time I had in Hawaii on vacation.
I didnt know how to play it, though. Had a one hour lesson in Hawaii, and that was it. I loved playing it. However, after about 2 months, my interest faded. Eventually, the Ukulele ended up in a storage unit.
Fast forward to about 3 years ago. I was listening to the soundtrack to Spongebob on YouTube, when I came across a song used in the first episode by Tiny Tim, called Living in the Sunlight. I was impressed by the Ukulele at the beginning, and I pulled the old Ukulele out of the storage unit, and I started teaching myself to play it.
My interest hasnt faded since, and my playing improved fast.
Well, thats my story.
