I just recently bout a "Lanikai" S-TEQ Tenor Solid Spruce Top Ukulele Acoustic/Electric. Ive been learning the basic chords. I just tuned it up Im pretty sure the second string is Low G, dont think that matters. Whenever i play the all the chords. The last string(starting from the bottom sounds Dreadful. Idk whats wrong. I tuned it in regular A I think.

I think you should be tuning it DGBE or GCEA.

That top string should be G... if its thicker than the second string from the top, then its low g, if its thinner than the second string from the top, its a high G.

You said your second string from the top is the thickest, so I'm assuming your strings are set up GCEA, that's the "my dog has fleas" reentrant C- tuning. That second string from the top is your C, followed by the E, and the bottom string is an A.

Here's a video of Aaron with a tenor that has high G, listen to how it sounds GCEA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHG7j9-d0d0
