Gene Simmons from KISS playing the uke

So I'm watching an old episode (S03E19) of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" where Gene and girlfriend Shannon are in Hawaii at Roy Yamaguchi's house having a romantic dinner. After dinner what does Gene do but pull out a six-string uke and serenade Shannon with a surprisingly sweet original song. No video (sorry), but here's a screenshot and a link to the audio (the background noise is from video clips from their past).

And yeah, he would play a six-string uke, wouldn't he.
