Is Southcoast Strings Up and Running?

I tried to go to Southcoast Strings, looking for a relatively low tension set of strings, for my aching fingertips. However, while their info pages seem to be up, I am unable to access any listing of actual strings for sale. I tried with two different browsers, just in case their website does not like one.

Any info?

Sadly, the owner passed away, and the business in no longer operational. Luckily, much of his website can still be found, with volumes of great info on strings and ukes.

If you're looking for low tension strings, you might try the new uKe Logic set:

I find Living Water to be quite comfortable.

And you can always tune down 1 to 3 semitones to get a lower tension
