My family's gonna get me a ukulele for my birthday, and I needed some help, maybe some recommendations. They're willing to pay up to $250.
I was looking at a few, anybody know if the Kala KA-T (Mahogany) is any good?
If not, any suggestions?

Congrats/happybday/welcome!! You'd be well served either way -- they are both laminated wood, so will likely sound nearly the same. I would go with whichever is more visually appealing to you -- you'll enjoy it either way
