View Full Version : Getting my first uke!

My family's gonna get me a ukulele for my birthday, and I needed some help, maybe some recommendations. They're willing to pay up to $250.
I was looking at a few, anybody know if the Kala KA-T (Mahogany) is any good?
If not, any suggestions?

Hey...Congratulations on a birthday and your new gift. Hey....if you got up to $250, why not go for the Kala KA-KT Koa tenor. Musidguymic has em here...

Congrats/happybday/welcome!! You'd be well served either way -- they are both laminated wood, so will likely sound nearly the same. I would go with whichever is more visually appealing to you -- you'll enjoy it either way

Welcome again, and have fun!
