This might be the wrong spot for this thread, but can anyone tell me how to play a C11 chord??

Thanks for those voicings, mailman. Yeah, a full C11 chord has six notes (C E G Bb D F), so you gotta pick and choose on uke.

Just curious Oswegan, what song did you find chord in?

Ah, for that tune, I'd just play 0011.

yeah cause 5565 sounds the best out of those metioned above but still doesnt sound quite right.

Elton John is just moving the bass note from G to C to go from the Gm7 to the C11.

The notes he's using in those chords are basically:

Gm7: G, Bb, D, F
C11: C, Bb, D, F

That's why I play the Gm7 as 0211 and the C11 as 0011 in that song. Minimal note change from chord to chord seems to fit the song the best.
